The Brewers edged the Arizona
Diamondbacks 2-1 on Friday night in Phoenix.  Jimmy Nelson scattered five hits over seven
scoreless innings to pick up the win.  Francisco
Rodriguez gave up a run in the 9^th but still notched his 22^nd
save of the season. Ryan Braun clubbed his 18^th homer of the season.

Menomonee Falls won the WIAA
State Summer baseball championship with an 11-0 win over Franklin
on Friday in Mequon.  It’s the 1^st Summer Baseball
championship for Menomonee Falls.

Cody Zonnefeld will represent
Central Wisconsin Christian at the Wisconsin Soccer Coaches’ Association
All-Star Game at UW-Whitewater this afternoon. 
Cody is one of just 32 players statewide chosen to take part in this
game, which will kick-off at 1:00 PM. Next season Cody will continue his soccer
career at Dordt College
in Iowa.
