Brewers Blank Braves

The Milwaukee Brewers shutout the Atlanta Braves 2-0 on Friday night at Miller Park.   An Aramis Ramirez sac fly in the first and a Jean Segura solo homer in the 5th was all the offense the Brewers pitching staff would need.  Wily Peralta gave up just 2 hits and struck out four in seven innings to pick up the win.  K-Rod struck out a pair in the 8th and Jim Henderson closed out the game in the 9th for his 10th save of the season.  The series continues this afternoon as Donovan Hand gets the start for the Brewers against Tim Hudson.  Coverage begins at 2:35pm on KFIZ.

Narveson Sent Down

The Brewers have sent lefty Chris Narveson down to Triple-A Nashville.  He missed most of last season with a shoulder injury and is trying to come back.  Narveson was also removed from the 40-man roster as he tries to get back into Big League shape.
