Ledger Girls In Sectional Final

The St. Mary’s Springs girls basketball team plays The Prairie School in a Division Four Sectional Final on Saturday afternoon at Hartland Arrowhead.  You’ll hear all the action on News-Talk 1450 KFIZ.  Coverage begins at 3:05pm with the Backyard Grill Pregame Show.  The tip is set for 3:30pm.  The game will also stream at kfiz.com

Stritch Men Advance To NAIA Quarterfinals

Drew Diener’s Cardinal Stritch men’s basketball team advanced to the quarterfinals of the NAIA Division Two National Tournament on Friday with an 81-56 win over Belleview.  Laconia grad Derek Semenas led Stritch with 20 points.  The Wolves will play Dordt, Iowa today at 3pm in Missouri. 

 

Stritch Women Ousted

The Cardinal Stritch women lost to Davenport, Iowa 62-39 in the women’s national tournament.  Lomira’s Emily Neitzel had 10 points while Liz Neitzel had 4 in the loss for the Wolves.
