The Brewers beat St. Louis 6-2 on Friday night at Miller Park.
The win moves Milwaukee
back to 3 games behind the Cardinal in the NL Central.  The series continues tonight on News-Talk
1450 KFIZ.  Coverage begins at 5:35pm.

 

The Packers appear to have
dodged a couple of injury bullets from Thursday’s loss to Seattle
Tackle Brian Bulaga has a sprained MCL in his left knee. He hopes to
practice  Eddie Lacy has a concussion and
hopes to pass the test to play against the NY Jets on September 14th

 

The Badgers host Western Illinois on Saturday morning.  Coverage begins at9am with the kickoff set
for 11am on KFIZ.

 

We’ve got high school
football on Saturday night on K107.1-FM as St. Mary’s Springs hosts North Fond du Lac. Coverage begins at 6:30pm with the Tim
Cruz Agency American Family Insurance Pregame Show.  The kickoff is set for 7pm and it streams at
k107.com.

Country teams were at Neenah
on Friday.  On the girls side, freshman Ally Gietzel took 2nd overall in
the 5k race with a time of 19:25.  Junior Annie Moore took 3rd in 19:33
and senior Megan Buechel was 6th in 19:44.  It was a very well run race by
the group of 7 girls who were in the lead pack and they didn’t break apart
until just after the 2 mile mark.  Nora Keller of Oshkosh Lourdes won in
19:12.
On
the boys side Fondy was led by juniors Bryton Koepke with a personal best
time of 18:08 and Mitchell VanHerwynen (18:40) in the 5k race.  Tannor
Wagner of Ashwaubenon won the boys race in 16:10.

men’s basketball team will go face-to-face with one of the top teams in the
Horizon League this season, as the Red Hawks have scheduled an exhibition game
