High School Wrestling: 

Lomira went 5-0 in dual meets in their home invite with wins over Jefferson, Cedar Grove-Belgium, Chilton/Hilbert, Ripon and Oconomowoc. Tyler Garrity, Mason Neuman, Ryan Riedel, Chase Parr, Nate Thomas, Colin Feucht and Allan Klink all go 5-0. 

Campbellsport wins their home invite with a score of 214.5. Dylan Bublitz, Derek Bublitz, Logan Kreuser and Taylor Heltmes all are first place finishers. 

Laconia went 4-1 in dual meets at the Necedah Tournament. The Spartans defeat Marathon, Osseo-Fairchild, Almond-Bancroft/Pacelli and Necedah

Waupun goes 3-2 at the Seymour Duals with wins over Bonduel, Wausau East and Peshtigo. The Warriors fell to Seymour and Neenah. Carter Veleke, Austin Farr and Koy Straks all went 5-0 on the day for Waupun. 

Oakfield placed 15th at the Papermaker Invite at Kimberly. James Kottke placed 6th, Bryce Marks 8th. 

Boys Swimming: 

Fond du Lac wins the Cudahy Invite for the 4th year in a row. The Cardinals medaled in each event and won all three relays. Ben Stoffel-Murray won in the 200 individual medley, and the 100 back, Cannon Lock in the 100 fly and Andrew Park in the 500 free. 

College Football: 

Big Ten Championship Game: 

Penn State 38, Wisconsin 31. 

–Wisconsin led 28-7 with 5:15 left in the second quarter, but was outscored 24-3 the rest of the way as Penn State roared back to claim the Big Ten title. Corey Clement had 21 carries for 164 yards and a touchdown in the loss. Meanwhile, Penn State quarterback Trace McSorley shredded the Badgers secondary to the tune of 384 yards and four touchdown passes. The Badgers fall to 10-3, and will wait to see where their bowl destination lies. 

NCAA Division 3 Playoffs: 

UW-Oshkosh 34, St. Thomas (MN) 31 — Titans advance to the National Semifinals for the 2nd time in school history (last was in 2012). 

John Carroll (OH) 31, UW-Whitewater 14

UWO will play John Carroll in the semifinals. The Titans beat John Carroll 33-14 in week 1 of the regular season. 

Men’s College Basketball: 

NACC: Benedictine 95, Marian 66

Non-Conference: 

Wisconsin 90, Oklahoma 70. 

–The Badgers scored 53 points in the second half to defeat Oklahoma by 20 at the Kohl Center. Nigel Hayes had 28 points, Bronson Koenig, Ethan Happ and D’Mitrik Trace all had 16 for Wisconsin who improved to 7-2 on the year.

Women’s College Basketball: 

NACC: Benedictine 67, Marian 49

NBA: Milwaukee 112, Brooklyn 103. The Bucks win their 4th in a row. John Henson with 20 points, Matthew Dellavedova with 18 to lead the team. 

Men’s College Hockey: 

Marian 4, St. Scholastica 2
