St. Mary’s Springs places 2nd at the Ledger Invite at Rolling Meadows Golf Course. The Ledgers shoot a 316 as a team, finishing two strokes behind first place Milwaukee Marquette. Colin Ahern wins medalist honors in a sudden death playoff, shooting a 75. Owen Ahern shoots a 79, Doyle Kelly an 80, Dawson Sarauer and Ben Hintze each shoot an 82.

Winnebago Lutheran places 5th at the Ledger Invite with a 341. Mason Herkstroeter leads the Vikings, finishing tied for 21st with an 83.

Boys Tennis:

Fond du Lac goes 3-0 at the Sheboygan North invite with wins over Kenosha Tremper, Sheboygan North and Sheboygan South.

–The Brewers scored eight runs in the bottom of the 5th to surge past the Mets on Saturday night at Miller Park. Travis Shaw went 3 for 5 with a home run, Domingo Santana 3 for 4 at the plate in the win. The series finale is this afternoon, coverage starts at 12:35 on KFIZ.
