Congratulations to the Post 75 17U team who qualified for the State Tournament with a 11-1 win over Oshkosh on Saturday.

--Brandon Wulff and Eric Gilgenbach each hit home runs for the Dock Spiders in their loss to Kalamazoo. The two teams play again this afternoon, first pitch is 3:05 pm.

--Travis Shaw’s solo home run in the bottom of the eighth inning gave the Brewers a win over the Phillies on Saturday at Miller Park. Jimmy Nelson had another strong outing on the mound, but did not factor into the decision. Nelson allowed two runs on three hits in six and ⅔ innings while striking out nine. Corey Knebel pitched a scoreless ninth to earn his 16th save of the year. The Brewers go for the sweep this afternoon, pregame coverage begins at 12:35, first pitch at 1:10 on KFIZ.
