Boys Soccer:

Denmark Invite:

North Fond du Lac United took second place overall at the Denmark Invite, playing to a 1-1 tie with Clintonville, losing to Peshtigo 1-0 and defeating Kewaskum 1-0.

Girls Volleyball:

Lutheran Invitational Tournament:

Winnebago Lutheran went 0-4 at the invite, hosted by Watertown Luther Prep. The Vikings fell to Shoreland Lutheran 2-1, Manitowoc Lutheran 2-0, Fox Valley Lutheran 2-1, and Luther Prep 2-0. Jena Krueger totaled 20 kills, Hailey Becker had 4 aces and 69 assists. Sam Bernhard had 24 kills and six blocks. Lexi Livieri had 11 digs.

Large Schools:

The Fond du Lac boys finished fifth at the Lourdes Academy invite. Kiernan Koepke was the highest finisher for Fond du Lac with a time of 11:08.

The Fond du Lac girls placed 11th as a team at the Lourdes Academy invite. Madison Hughes placed 7th overall with a time of 13:14.

Small Schools:

The North Fond du Lac/Oakfield boys placed fourth as a team at the Lourdes Invite. Diego Charbonneau finished 7th individually with a time of 11:20. Brandon Anderson placed 13th with a time of 11:29.

The St. Mary’s Springs boys placed 16th, with Isaac Shannon placing 15th individually with a time of 11:37.

Laconia placed 24th, with Derek Stahmann placing 58th individually (12:32)

The North Fond du Lac Oakfield girls placed 19th overall. Faith Peebles led the way placing 38th individually with a time of 14:41.

The St. Mary’s Springs girls placed 21st individually, Alyssa Babler placed 81st with a time of 15:37.

–Travis Shaw’s walk-off home run in the bottom of the 10th inning gave the Brewers a win in game three of their four game series with the Cubs at Miller Park. The Brewers rallied to tie the game in the ninth on a solo home run from Orlando Arcia, then allowed the Cubs to take a 3-2 lead in the top of the 10th before Shaw’s heroics in the bottom half. The final game of the series is this afternoon, Chase Anderson for the Brewers goes against Jose Quintana for the Cubs. First pitch is 1:10 pm.
