The Marian University Men’s Golf Team finished in eighth place at the Edgewood Invite. The Sabres shot a 319, with Jake Sherwood leading the way with a second round score of a 77. Sherwood finished in 14th individually.

The Packers completed their roster cutdown to the 53-man limit on Saturday from their camp roster of 90 players. Among the notables released were backup quarterbacks Joe Callahan and Taysom Hill, along with receivers Malachi Dupre and DeAngelo Yancey who were draft picks this spring. --The Nationals pushed two runs across in the top of the eighth inning to pull out a win over the Brewers on Saturday night at Miller Park. Eric Thames and Stephen Vogt both doubled in runs in the loss for the Brewers. The final game of the series is this afternoon, Brent Suter starts for the Brewers against Edwin Jackson for the Nationals. Coverage starts at 12:35, first pitch at 1:10 on KFIZ.
