Milwaukee 4, LA Dodgers 1

Mike Fiers found his way back on the 25-man roster for a couple of starts to fill in for the injured Matt Garza, but with performances like the one he had on Saturday night it will be hard to keep him out of Milwaukee. Fiers threw eight innings while allowing just one run off three hits. He had five strikeouts and improved to 1-1 on the season. Frankie Rodriguez picked up the save for Milwaukee. Khris Davis and Carlos Gomez homered in the game.

Tennessee 20, Green Bay 16

Aaron Rodgers, Jordy Nelson, and Eddie Lacy were all healthy scratches for the Packers in their first preseason game of 2014, as the Packers fell to the Titans 20-16. Heavy rains in the opening quarter weren’t enough to slow down James Starks, who had a 20 yard TD run on the Packers opening drive. Starks was 6 for 49 rushing on the night. Running Back Raijon Neal added Green Bay’s other TD, and full stats are available here.
