Packers @ Bears

The Green Bay Packers can clinch the NFC North today with a win at Chicago.  The Packers are 9-4 and the Bears are 8-5.  Green Bay won the earlier meeting 23-10 at Lambeau.  Coverage begins at 10am with the kickoff at noon on KFIZ.

Finley Gone?

Bob McGinn of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports that the Packers have decided to part ways with TE Jerimichael Finley after the season either by trade or flat our release.  McGinn says the team sources site financial, competitive, and behavioral reasons for the decision.  McGinn says that clearing Finley’s $8.25 million dollars off the books will help them in their quest to re-sign LB Clay Matthews, QB Aaron Rodgers, and NT BJ Raji.

Two More Badger Assistants Bolt

The University of Wisconsin football team has lost two more assistant coaches.  Offensive coordinator Matt Canada has agreed to join NC State in the same role.  The Wolfpack are coached by former Badger assistant Dave Doeren who led Northern Illinois to the Orange Bowl this year.  Charlie Partridge will follow Bret Bielema to Arkansas to become their defensive line coach.
