Costello & Huenink Win State Titles
Campbellsport’s Ryan Costello and Waupun’s Brady Huenink both won state championships at the WIAA Individual Wrestling Tournament in Madison.  Costello beat Phil Opelt of Neillsville 6-2 in the 126 final in Division Two.  Huenink was a 7-1 winner over Kyle Burkhalter in the D2 final at 182.  Chilton-Hilbert’s Mitchell Fucile lost in the D2 152 final 16-1 to Seth Leigel of River Valley.  Laconia’s Cody Moon also took third place in the D3, 220 weight class.

Stritch Wins CCAC Title

Cardinal Stritch University coached by Fond du Lac native Drew Diener beat St. Xavier 84-75 to win their league title.  The Wolves, ranked #2 in NAIA Division 2 were led by Fondy native Nick Ford who had 18 points and 10 assists.
