Waupun American Legion Baseball wins again in the Class A State Tournament. They defeated Viroqua 4-2 on Saturday and will play Prairie Du Chien at 1pm this afternoon. The winner of that game will play Viroqua again for the championship. 

The Brewers won their second straight over the Pittsburgh Pirates, 5-3, on Saturday at Miller Park. Hernan Perez went three for four with three RBI’s and a home run, while Kirk Nieuwenhuis also hit a long ball for the Crew. Chase Anderson got the win, he’s 6-10, Jeremy Jeffress earned his 26th save. The final game of the series is this afternoon, a 12:35 pregame on News/Talk 1450 KFIZ. 

The Packers begin pre-season play one week from today in the Hall-of-Fame Game in Canton, Ohio, but first its Family Night at Lambeau Field tonight. The practice gets underway at 7:30 pm and will include 11 on 11 sessions that feature live contact. 

The Bucks have signed deals with their 2016 draft picks. General Manager John Hammond announced the signings of first round pick Thon Maker and second round pick Malcom Brogdon Saturday. Contract terms were not announced per team policy. 

Jimmy Walker and Robert Streb remain tied for the lead at the PGA Championship at Baltusrol Golf Club. Walker and Streb are at minus-9, while Emiliano Grillo and Jason Day are tied for third at minus-7. Steve Stricker has climbed the leaderboard a bit, he now sits tied for 19th at 3-under.
