The Wisconsin Badgers face Xavier in the second round of
the NCAA Tournament tonight at 7:40 p.m. on KFIZ. The Badgers (21-12) are the 7th seeded
team in the East while the Musketeers (28-5) are the 2nd seeded team.

The Waupun Warriors Boys High School Basketball team won
their first ever WIAA State Championship Saturday in a nail bitter over Appleton
Xavier 59 to 58. There were seven lead changes. The Warriors had four players
score in double digits led by Marcus Domask with 15 points. Waupun finishes the
season 27-1, while Xavier finished 24-4. Xavier took the second place trophy in
the Division 3 State tourney a second year in a row. They lost to Brown Deer in
last year’s Division 3 final. it was Waupun’s first trip to state in Boys High
School Basketball since 1927.
