Ike Floyd ran for 3 touchdowns and Zach McLaughlin ran for two and threw for one as St. Mary’s Springs blew by Kettle Moraine Lutheran 51-7 on Saturday afternoon in Jackson. The game’s kickoff was delayed over an hour because of lightning.  The win improves the Ledgers to 8-0 on the season.  They will host WLA on Thursday in the final regular season home game of the year. Melvin Gordon ran for 172 yards and a TD and James White added 101 yards and a score as Wisconsin pounded #19 Northwestern 35-6 at Camp Randall on Saturday.  UW will travel to Illinois next Saturday night.  The kickoff is set for 7pm on KFIZ.


The Packers will be without linebackers Clay Matthews and Brad Jones today as they take on the defending Super Bowl champion Ravens in Baltimore.  Coverage begins at 10am with the kickoff at Noon.


The Cowboys host the Redskins tonight on Sunday Night Football.  Coverage begins at 6:30pm on KFIZ.


The Detroit Tigers blanked the Red Sox 1-0 in Game 1 of the American League Championship Series on Saturday.  Pitcher Anibal Sanchez and four relievers took a no hitter into the 9th inning before Daniel Nava broke it up.  Game two of the series is tonight. 


St. Louis took a 2-0 NLCS series lead over the Dodgers with a 1-0 win on Saturday night.  Game 3 of the series is Monday night in LA


Charlotte beat the Bucks 83-76 in preseason action at the BMO Harris Bradley Center on Saturday night.  Caron Butler led the Bucks with 18 points.  Luke Ridnour added 14 in the loss.
