The Bucks also announced that their new floor will have to be resurfaced and will not be available for a few weeks. The final preseason game was cancelled in the first quarter because players kept slipping and falling.
The Badger men’s basketball teams stopped UW-Platteville 80-51 in their exhibition opener on Wednesday night. Ben Brust scored 20 for UW. The Badgers also announced that sophomore guard Zak Showalter and junior guard Jordan Smith will red-shirt this season.
