When it comes to Aaron
Rodgers and his status for Sunday’s game against Pittsburgh its much like the last few
weeks…wait and see. Rodgers took snaps
on offense but head coach Mike McCarthy says he’s not been cleared by team
doctors and will have to wait until later in the week to determine if he can
get back on the field. Randall Cobb
returned to the practice field on Wednesday as he’s been out with a knee injury. He’s still not ready to play in a game. Eddie Lacy and Johnny Jolly were among the players
who sat out on Wednesday. Sunday’s
kickoff is set for 3:25pm. You’ll hear
it on KFIZ.
The New York Knicks beat the
Bucks 107-101i double OT last night at the BMO Harris Bradley Center. Brandon Knight led Milwaukee with a career high 36 points and 9
rebounds in the loss. Milwaukee
travels to Cleveland
on Friday night.
Wisconsin senior linebacker Chris Borland has been named a 1st
Team All-American by the Football Writers Association of America. Wisconsin
is getting ready for the Capital One Bowl against South Carolina on New Year’s Day. You’ll
hear it on KFIZ presented by Faber Building Center
in Oakfield and Faber Design Center
on Johnson Street
in Fond du Lac.
The Badger women’s
volleyball team is in Seattle
for the NCAA Final Four. Bucky will play
in a national semifinal.
The Brewers continue to shop
for a first baseman. Fox Sports reports
may have interest in 37-year-old Michael Young.
He’s a seven time all-star, but isn’t a true first baseman. He played 26 games at first base with the
Dodgers last season.
