The Packers take Christmas Day off as they eye up the
Detroit Lions on Sunday at Lambeau Field in a winner take all matchup.   The winner gets the division crown and a
first round bye in the NFC Playoffs.  The
loser goes on the road for a Wild Card game. 
Sunday’s game kicks off at 3:25pm with coverage beginning at 1pm on
KFIZ.

 

Aaron Rodgers played Santa Claus on Wednesday giving all of
his offensive linemen and backup quarterbacks 55 inch curved flat screen TVs
and also Beats headphones.  He had them
delivered to the locker room before Wednesday’s practice.

 

Clay Matthews has been named the NFC’s Defensive Player of
the Week.  Matthews had six tackles and
2.5 sacks in Sunday’s win over Tampa
Bay
.  It’s the fourth time he has won the award in
his career.

 

The Wisconsin Badgers leave for Tampa on Friday for the Outback Bowl on
January 1st.  Bucky will face Auburn.  You’ll hear the game on News-Talk 1450
KFIZ.  Pregame coverage begins at 9am
with kickoff at 11am.  It’s presented by
