We’ve got high school hockey tonight on News-Talk 1450 KFIZ as Fond du Lac hosts St. Mary’s Springs in the Regional Final of the WIAA Hockey Tournament.  Coverage begins at 7:05pm with the Backyard Grill Pregame Show.  The puck drops at 7:30pm its presented by BCI Burke Company and Taco Bell.

 

The Fondy-Waupun girls hockey team begins regional action tonight as they host Fox Cities at 5pm.

 

The Fond du Lac boys basketball team wraps up their regular season tonight on the road at Neenah.  You’ll hear that one on our sister station K107.1.  Coverage begins at 7:05pm.

 

Creighton beat Marquette 85-70 last night, pretty much ending the Golden Eagles NCAA Tournament hopes.  Todd Mayo paced Marquette with 13.  Deonte Burton added 11.  The Golden Eagles play DePaul on Sunday.

 

#1 Syracuse got beat in overtime at home by Boston College 62-59.

The Bucks are home tonight against the Denver Nuggets.  Today is also the NBA trade deadline.  The Bucks could be sellers today.

 

The United State’s women’s hockey team will face Canada later this morning in the Gold Medal Game. 

 

Brewers 3rd baseman Aramis Ramirez will miss some time at the start of Spring Training as he had a non-cancerous polyp removed from his colon.  He should be ready for opening day.
