ran by Marquette 79-62 last night in New Jersey.  Luke Fischer led the Golden Eagles with 17.  Marquette
heads to Xavier on Saturday.

 

Concordia, Wisconsin’s Trevor
Krizenesky hit a jumper as time expired to beat the Marian men’s basketball
team 73-72 in Mequon
on Wednesday night.  Alex Manhart led the
Sabres with 24 points and 9 rebounds. 
Marian travels to Concordia, Chicago on Saturday.   The Marian women lost to Wisconsin Lutheran 68-45
on Wednesday night at the Sadoff Gym.

 

The
Wisconsin Badgers host Ohio State tonight at the Kohl Center.   Coverage begins at 5pm with the tip set for 6pm
on KFIZ.

Badger
football coach Paul Chryst has 31 players in this year’s recruiting class.  25 of those players will get scholarships
with 6 preferred walk-ons.  The Badgers
have a trio of 4 star recruits including Bay
Port offensive lineman Cole Van Lanen,
 Arizona
defensive tackle Garrett Rand and Kansas
City athlete AJ Taylor.

 

A trio of
high school football players from the area signed National Letters of Intent to
play college football on Wednesday.  At Fond du Lac High School,
Justin Maratik will head to NCAA Division One, FCS South Dakota
State.  Winnebago Lutheran’s Mitch McFarlane will
play at NCAA Division One, FCS Drake. 
Lomira’s Colin Sabel signed his letter to play at NCAA Division Two,
Minnesota State-Mankato.
