Packers
free agent defensive lineman Letroy Guion was arrested in Florida on Tuesday night.  Reports say that Guion had a handgun,
three-quarters of a pound of marijuana, and $190,000 in cash on him.  He is facing two felony counts. Reports say
Guion was pulled over on Tuesday night for not staying in his lane.

Villanova rolled by Marquette
70-52 in Big East action last night. JaJuan Johnson was the only Golden Eagle
in double figures with 10.

 

MSOE beat
the Marian men’s basketball team 60-59 on Collin Seubert’s three pointer at the
buzzer.  Josh Creed led the Sabres with
20.  Marian travels to Aurora on Saturday

 

UW-Marinette
beat UW-Fond du Lac’s men’s basketball team 84-73.  Moe Crane 21. 
Collin Pickart 18 for the Falcons.

 

UW-Green Bay hosts
UW-Milwaukee tonight at the Resch Center in Green

.  The tip is
set for 7pm.

 

The
Milwaukee Bucks are 5 games over .500 after rallying by the LA Lakers 113-105
in overtime.  OJ Mayo hit a 3-pointer
with .5 seconds left in the 4th to force OT.  Giannis had 25, Brandon Knight, 24, Mayo, and
Khirs Middleton each had 21.  The win is
the Bucks 5th straight and they have a 27-22 record.    The Bucks travel to Houston on Friday night.

 

The Brewers
have signed former Cleveland Indians closer Chris Perez to a minor league
deal.  The 29-year-old played in a set up
role with the Dodgers last season.

 

Wednesday
was National Signing Day for high school athletes who are moving on to play
college football at the next level.   Fond du Lac High School
senior defensive lineman Robert Windsor signed his letter of intent to play
college football at Penn
State
Windsor had a
handful of schools including; Wisconsin, Illinois, Pitt, Maryland, and Minnesota.

team signed 20 players to National Letters of Intent on Wednesday.  Scout.com has ranked Wisconsin’s recruiting
class #31 in the country and 4th in the Big Ten behind Ohio State,
Penn State, and Michigan State.  St.
Mary’s Springs Academy
kicker Zach Hintze has agreed to preferred walk-on status to kick at the University of Wisconsin
