Brewers Fall
Oakland scored five runs in the 7th inning as they won the series finale with the Brewers 6-1 on Wednesday afternoon. Yovani Gallardo couldn’t register an out in the 7th innings as he gets charged with 5 total runs on the day. Carlos Gomez drove in the only Brewers run with an triple in the 1st. Ryan Braun sat out yesterday’s game with a nagging thumb injury. The Brewers open up a four game weekend series with the Phillies at Miller Park tonight. Wily Peralta will take on Tyler Cloyd. Coverage begins at 6:35pm and the first pitch is set for 7:10pm on KFIZ.
MLB Draft
The Major Baseball Amateur Draft begins today. The Brewers don’t have a first round pick this year. They gave up the 17th pick to sign pitcher Kyle Lohse.

Packers Mini-Camp
The Packers wrap up their three day mandatory mini-camp today. They will not practice but head coach Mike McCarthy has schedule an unspecified team activity.
Harris Out
Packers running back DuJuan Harris has been MIA during this mini-camp and we come to find out that he had a cyst the size of a fist removed from his lung. Harris tweeted that the cyst was found during a routine team physical. Harris will be out of action until training camp.
NBA Finals
The NBA Finals begin tonight as the defending champion Miami Heat host San Antonio. The Heat are coming off of a seven game series win over Indiana, while the Spurs should be well rested after sweeping Memphis in the Western Finals.

All-FVA Teams
The Fox Valley Association has released more All-Conference teams and Fond du Lac is well represented. Fondy senior defender Jenny Smit was named 1st Team All-FVA in girls soccer. Forwards Shelly Sabel and Kelsey Schneider were named to the 2nd Team. Sophomore defender Maddy Te Stroete and senior defender Samantha Greuel were name Honorable Mention. Fondy sophomore Angel Payne was name 1st Team All-FVA as a utility player in girls softball. Senior outfielders Sadie Warner and Shiloh Jones were Honorable Mention. Fond du Lac Senior Tyler Kryzanowski was named 2nd Team All-FVA in baseball. Senior catcher Ty Rebedew, Senior DH Ian Lock, and Senior utility player Logan Wendt were named Honorable Mention.
