Crusaders take on #1 seed Oregon

Michigan 67 Tulsa
62 – Wolverines play Notre Dame

 

The 1st round of
the NCAA Tournament gets going today with 16 games on the schedule.  It gets going this morning as UNC-Wilmington
and Duke tip off at 11:15am central in Providence.
 The final game of the night sees Seton
Hall and Gonzaga start just before 9pm in Denver.  We’ll have Coverage after Bucks basketball tonight
on KFIZ.

The Badgers and UW-Green Bay both are preparing for their 1st
games on Friday night.  The 7th
seeded Badgers in the East Region will play #10 seed Pittsburgh
at 5:50pm on Friday night in St. Louis.  You’ll hear that game on KFIZ and it will be
on TNT.  UW-Green
Bay is a #14 seed and face #3 seed
Texas A&M in Oklahoma City
at 6:20pm Friday.  That game will be
broadcast on TBS.

 

The Bucks host Memphis tonight at BMO Harris Bradley Center.  Coverage begins at 6:40pm on KFIZ. 

 

Ryan Braun hit the field for
the 1st time this spring and singled and drove in a run in his only
at-bat at the Brewers stopped the White Sox 5-2 on Wednesday.  Matt Garza gave up a pair of hits and struck
out 2 in four scoreless innings of work. . 
The Brewers play the Rangers tonight with an 8:05pm first pitch.   

 

The Badger men’s hockey team
opens up Big Ten Tournament play this afternoon as they play Penn State
in Saint Paul.  The puck drops at 4pm.  The winner faces Michigan in Friday’s semifinals.

 

The WIAA Boys Basketball
Tournament gets going today with semifinal action in Division Three and
Four.  In Division Three, Waupun takes on
Prairie du Chien at 1:30pm, followed by Gale-Ettrick-Trempealeau and Appleton
Xavier.  In Division Four tonight at
6:30pm,  LaCrosse Aquinas takes on
Whitefish Bay Dominican and then Cameron squares off with Amherst
Divisions 5, 2, and 1 semi-finals are on Friday.
