The St. Mary’s Springs girls
basketball team heads to Green Bay
tonight for a WIAA Division Four State Semifinal against defending champion
Algoma.  It’s the first appearance in the
WIAA State Tournament for the Ledgers.   St. Mary’s Springs made three trips to the WISAA in the
1990s.  You’ll hear the game on News-Talk
1450 KFIZ.  It will also stream at
kfiz.com and you can listen on your mobile device via TuneIn Radio.   Coverage begins at 5:35pm with the Backyard
Grill Pregame Show.  The tip is set for
6:35pm from the Resch
Center

advance for tonight’s game at St. Mary’s Springs until Noon.  Otherwise you can buy them at The Resch
Center when you get there tonight.

The Badgers get their NCAA
Tournament going this morning as they play American at 11:40am at BMO Harris
Bradley Center

in a West Region 2nd round matchup. 
American won The Patriot League Tournament to earn a spot in the
tournament.  You’ll hear it on News-Talk
1450 KFIZ.  Coverage begins at 10:30pm.  The game will be broadcast on TruTV.   If you are going to the game today for the
afternoon session be aware that parking will be at a premium because it’s a
normal workday in Milwaukee.  If you do find a spot it will probably be
very expensive.

 

Milwaukee will play Villanova on Thursday night in Buffalo at 8:25pm.  It will air on TBS.

 

The Bucks are on the west
coast tonight taking on Golden
State
.  Coverage begins at 9:10pm with the tip at
9:30pm with Ted Davis from Oakland.  Bucks big man Larry Sanders will miss the
rest of the season as he recovers from a broken bone in his face.

 

Mark Reynolds homered for
the 2nd straight day as the Brewers stopped Seattle 9-7 on Wednesday. Wily Peralta gave
up five runs and 8 hits in six innings but still notched the win. Peralta also
homered.  Juan Francisco, Khris Davis,
and Logan Schafer also went deep.   The
Brewers play the Rockies this afternoon.  No radio broadcast today.

 

Charles Woodson has agreed
to a one-year contract to return to the Oakland Raiders.
