Wisconsin Badger men’s basketball team won their 8th straight with a
76-70 win over Purdue at the Kohl
Center
.  Junior Frank Kaminsky had 22 including 4 of 5
from beyond the 3-point arc.  Wisconsin will wrap up their regular season at Nebraska on Sunday

Sacramento handled the Bucks 116-102 at the BMO Harris Bradley Center
on Wednesday night.  Brandon Knight had
25 to pace the Bucks.

 

Ryan Braun homered and
singled as the Brewers downed Oakland
7-2 in Cactus League play on Wednesday. 
Braun is hitting .875 with two homers this spring.  Yovani Gallardo gave up 3 hits and 1 run in
two and two-thirds innings of work. The Brewers and Rockies

With free agency looming a
pair of Pro Bowl veterans will be let go by their current teams.  The Denver Broncos will cut DB Champ Bailey
while return man Devin Hester says he won’t be back with the Bears in 2014.
