The Miami Marlins edged the
Brewers 3-2 on Wednesday night in Miami.  Brewers starter Chase Anderson was the hard
luck loser, giving up just 3 hits and 3 runs in 6 innings of work.  All the Marlins runs came in the 5th
and included a 2-run homer by Justin Bour. 
Ryan Braun raised his average to .380 on the season by going 3×4 at the plate.  The Brewers open up four game set with the
Padres tonight at Miller
Park

Washington pitcher Max Scherzer tied a Major League Baseball
record with 20 strikeouts in the National’s 3-2 win over Detroit last night.  Rogers Clemens (2 times), Kerry Wood, and
Randy Johnson are the only pitchers in MLB history to strike out 20 in a 9
