The Brewers worked overtime
to earn a 3-2 win over the Braves on Wednesday night.  Jonathan Villar singled home Aaron Hill in
the 13th to plate the winning run. 
Michael Blazek picked up the win and Carlos Tores registered his first
save of the season.  The series wraps up
tonight as Wily Peralta gets the start for Milwaukee

Oshkosh is in the running to the home of a potential NBA
D-League franchise for the Milwaukee Bucks. 
Reports say the Bucks are looking for a city in Wisconsin to host their minor league
franchise.  Windward Wealth Strategies is
the group hoping bring the franchise to the Fox Valley.
If a deal can be struck a 3,500 seat arena would have to be built.

The Marian
University Athletic Department has added men’s lacrosse as it’s 19th varsity
sport.  The Sabre lacrosse team will begin play in the 2017-18 season.
 Reid Mayberry, who was on the staff at Widener University
in Chester, Pennsylvania has been hired as the program’s
first head coach.  Men’s lacrosse is expected to add 50 to 60 male student
athletes on the campus.

All-Conference, All-State track stand out, Marissa Wustrack, in her second
season of track at UW-Lacrosse, has qualified for the Div III National Track
championship this weekend in Iowa.
 Marissa Jumped 18′ 10″ in the long
jump to qualify and has jumped 38′ 2″ in the triple jump.
