Scooter Gennett and Adam Lind
both hit two run homers in a five run 1st as Milwaukee
took down the Dodgers 6-3 on Wednesday night at Miller Park.  Wily Peralta gave up just 3 runs and seven
hits in 8 innings to notch the win. 
Francisco Rodriguez struck out a pair in the 9th to tally his
6th save of the season.  The
series wraps up this afternoon.  Mike
Fiers gets the start for Milwaukee.  Coverage begins at 12:05pm with the first
pitch set for 12:40pm on KFIZ.

Major” begins today with The Players Championship at TPC Sawgrass.

 

The Marian baseball team
travels to Mequon
today for the NACC tournament.  The
Sabres were regular season co-champs of the league and garner the #2 seed in
the double elimination event.  Marian
plays Benedictine this afternoon at 4pm on the campus of Concordia University.

The Fond
du Lac
boys golf team stopped Oshkosh North 163-178 at Rolling Meadows on
Wednesday.  Elliot Nielsen had a 39 while
Marcus Ruch and Mike Barbaeau added 40s. 
Jack DuChateau carded a 44.  
Oshkosh North’s Nick Bauer won the meet with an even par 36.

 

Area golfers were over at
Lawsonia for the Green Lake Invite on Wednesday.  St. Mary’s Springs won the D3 event.  Brady Sarauer had a 74.  Campbellsports took the D2 event with WLA 2nd.  The Vikings Chris Colla had an event best 69.

softball this afternoon on KFIZ as St. Mary’s Springs plays host to Lomira at Marian University.  Coverage begins at 4:45pm with the first
pitch set for 5pm.
