The Chicago Cubs advanced to
the National League Division Series with a 4-0 Wild Card win at Pittsburgh on Wednesday
night.  Jake Arrieta struck out 11 and
gave up just 4 hits in the complete game shutout.  Kyle Schwarber homered and drove in 3 runs
for the Cubs who will head to St.
Louis
on Friday night.

 

The Division Series get going
this afternoon in the American League as Texas
travels to TorontoKansas City
hosts Houston
tonight. 

 

Brian Bulaga was back on the
practice field Wednesday after missing time with a knee injury.  Bulaga won’t say if he’ll be ready to play on
Sunday.  The Packers will host the St.
Louis Rams on Sunday at Lambeau Field.  St. Louis is 2-2 but are
considered Super Bowl contenders by some in the NFC.  Coverage on Sunday begins at 10am with the
kickoff at Noon on KFIZ.

 

Week 5 of the NFL season gets
under way tonight as Houston hosts Indianapolis.  Coverage begins at 7pm on KFIZ.

 

The Badgers head to Nebraska for a matchup
with the Cornhuskers on Saturday.  Both
teams are 0-1 in Big Ten play after dropping their league openers last
weekend.  The kickoff is set for 2:30pm

Saturday with pregame coverage set for 12:30pm on KFIZ.

We’ve got a pair of high
school football games this weekend on KFIZ. 
On Friday night, Fond du Lac can clinch
the outright VFA-South Division Conference title with a win over Wisconsin Rapids at Fruth
Field.  Coverage begins at 5:30pm with
the kickoff set for 7pm.  On Saturday
night, St. Mary’s Springs hosts Laconia.  That game game kicks off at 7pm on KFIZ.
