Reports say that Badger
football coach Paul Chryst has hired Justin Wilcox as their new defensive coordinator.  Wilcox had the same position for the last two
seasons at USC before being fired last month. Before USC, Wilcox was the
defensive coordinator at Boise State, Tennessee and Washington
State
.  He replaces Dave Aranda who left for the same
position at LSU.  Last season USC was 50th
nationally in scoring defense, and 65th in total defense.

 

Packers coach Mike McCarthy
won’t be coaching at this weekend’s Pro Bowl because of a stomach illness.  Packers Associate Head Coach Winston Moss
will fill in for the coach.   

 

Marquette beat Stetson 74-60 at BMO Harris Bradley Center
last night.  Jajuan Johnson led the way
with 22 points.   The Golden Eagles host Butler on Saturday
morning.

 

The Bucks are on the road at Memphis tonight.  Coverage begins at 6:40pm on KFIZ.

 

The Fond du Lac hockey team lost to Madison Edgewood
in an overtime shootout last night.  The
teams were tied at 1-1 through regulation and OT with Dayne Hefter scoring the
Cardinals only goal.
