WIAA Division 3 Sectional Semifinals:

 

Campbellsport at Laconia

--First pitch at 5pm, hear the game on KFIZ. Winner advances to the sectional championship game Thursday, which will be hosted by Laconia.

 

WIAA Division 5 Sectional Semifinals:

 

Elkhart Lake-Glenbeulah at Oakfield.

--First pitch at 4:30 pm. Winner advances to the sectional championship game Thursday at New Holstein.

Boys Golf:

 

The Golf Coaches Association of Wisconsin has named Colin Ahern, Owen Ahern, Dawson Sarauer and Ben Hintze Academic All-State honorees. The GCAW says that a record 395 students from 129 different high schools were honored this year, with the average GPA of those students at 3.724.

Boys golf sectionals will be held today and tomorrow throughout the state. Fond du Lac will compete at the Grafton Sectional, Chilton at the Racine St. Catherine’s Sectional, while St. Mary’s Springs will host their own sectional at Rolling Meadows Golf Course.

The Fond du Lac Dock Spiders begin their inaugural season in the Northwoods League tonight with a two game series on the road at Madison. First pitch is 6:35 pm.

--Domingo Santana went 2 for 4 with a home run in the loss for Milwaukee. Starter Matt Garza took the loss, falling to 2-2. He surrendered four runs on seven hits in 5 & ⅔ innings. Game 2 of the series is tonight. We will join coverage in progress after High School Softball on KFIZ.
