High School Baseball:

 

WIAA Division 1 Sectionals (At Sun Prairie):

 

Fond du Lac at Sun Prairie

–Pregame coverage begins at 9:55 am, first pitch at 10am. If Fond du Lac wins, they will face either Beaver Dam or Oconomowoc in the sectional championship game at 4pm for a trip to state.

 

WIAA Division 2 Sectionals (At Waupun):

 

Waupun vs. Jefferson

 

Mayville vs. Wisconsin Lutheran

 

–Winners face off in the sectional championship game at 4:30 pm.

 

WIAA Division 3 Sectionals (At Markesan):

 

Laconia vs. Southern Door

 

–Winner faces either Lake Country Lutheran or Kenosha St. Joe’s in the sectional championship game at 3:30 pm.

 

WIAA Division 4 Sectionals (At Barneveld):

 

Oakfield vs. Rosholt

 

–Winner faces either Pecatonica or Johnson Creek in the sectional championship game at 4:30 pm.

 

WIAA State Boys Golf Tournament (Day 1):

 

Division 2:

 

Mayville’s Caleb Martin finishes day one in a tie for 17th individually after shooting an 11-over par 83.

 

Division 3:

 

St. Mary’s Springs is at the top of the team leaderboard after day one. The Ledgers shoot a 326 as a team, 19 strokes ahead of second place Eleva-Strum (345).

 

Individually, Doyle Kelly is in second place for St. Mary’s Springs with a three over par 75. Colin Ahern is tied for eighth with an 82, Dawson Sarauer 16th with an 84, Ben Hintze tied for 17th with an 85, Owen Ahern tied for 23rd with an 87. The final round is today at University Ridge in Madison.

–The two teams play again tonight, first pitch at 6:35 at Herr-Baker Field.
