Wisconsin placed two players on the preseason All-Conference list that was released Monday at Big Ten Media Days in Chicago. Linebacker Jack Cichy and Tight End Troy Fumagalli were named to the list by a media panel that chose a list of five players from the west division and five from the east division. Northwestern also placed two players on the West Division list, with running back Justin Jackson and safety Godwin Igwebuike. Iowa linebacker Josey Jewell rounded out the list.

The East division preseason list includes quarterback JT Barrett and defensive end Tyquan Lewis of Ohio State, quarterback Trace McSorely and running back Saquon Barkley of Penn State and linebacker Tegray Sales of Indiana.

The Big Ten Network will triple its prime-time national TV exposure during football season and add more basketball games in the time slot, thanks to new deals with broadcast partners FOX, ABC/ESPN and CBS. Those announcements were made at the start of the conference’s media days in Chicago on Monday. The FOX and ABC/ESPN football deals run for six years, as does the basketball agreement with CBS. The Big Ten Network also extended its joint venture with FOX through 2032. Conference officials said ratings for the network were up five percent last season, when more live events and studio hours were shown than ever before
