triple in the 12th lifted the Brewers to a 5-3 win over St. Louis at Busch
Stadium last night.  Mark Reynolds added
a sac fly for the insurance run.  The
Brewers rallied from a 3-0 deficit with three runs of their own in the 7th.  Zach Duke pitched a pair of innings to pick
up the win while Francisco Rodriguez pitched the 12th for his 12th
save of the season.

With the loss to
the Miami Heat last night, the Charlotte Bobcats era is over. The Bobcats began
play in the NBA in the 2004-05 season when the Charlotte Hornets moved to New Orleans.  Last season the New Orleans franchise took the Pelicans
nickname, so next season the Bobcats will become the Charlotte Hornets once
again.

 

NBA Commissioner
Adam Silver is scheduled to meet the media today to discuss what the NBA is
doing to investigate LA Clippers owner Donald Sterling who was recorded making
racist remarks to his girlfriend.

coach Dr. Jack Ramsey has died after a long battle with cancer at the age of
89.
