Wily Peralta got roughed up
for 6 runs in just three and a third innings of work in a 13-5 loss to San Diego on Monday Night at Miller Park.  Scooter Gennett homered and Adam Lind drove
in a pair in the loss.  Milwaukee has lost six in a row and 9 of
their last 10 games. The series continues tonight as Jimmy Nelson takes on
Andrew Cashner.  Coverage begins at

The Texas Rangers Adrian
Beltre tied a Major League record last night by hitting for the cycle for the 3rd
time in his career.  Beltre’s 5th
inning homer.  The last Big Leaguer to
hit for three cycles in a career was Babe Herman who got his 3rd
cycle back in 1933

 

The Packers are back out on
the practice field this morning.  The
team will workout at 8:20am.   They will
take Wednesday off then practice again at that same time on Thursday and Friday
before Saturday night’s Family Night Scrimmage at Lambeau Field.

 

Packers tight end Andrew
Quarless was back at practice on Monday after losing a child at birth last
week.   Quarless told reporters in the
locker room on Monday that last Wednesday was the saddest day of his life.   He says that he has learned you can’t take
anything for granted in life.  The loss
of the child comes weeks after the 26-year-old was arrested in Florida for firing off a
gun. 

 

Defending PGA Championship
winner Rory McIlroy plans to test out his injured ankle with a practice round
at Whistling Straits this weekend. 
McIlroy hurt his ankle last month while playing soccer and has not been
able to play.  Golf’s final major is next
week in the Sheboygan
area.
