Pitchers & Catchers Report

It’s another sign of spring as pitchers and catchers report to Brewers spring training in Arizona today.  The Crew’s first game will on February 23rd with the first radio broadcast on March 1st.

 

Marquette Loses in DC

#15 Georgetown beat #18 Marquette 63-55 last night in Washington, DC.  Jamil Wilson had 13 to pace the Golden Eagles.

 

Bucks Fall

The Bucks dropped their fourth straight game, losing to the Wizards 102-90 at the BMO Harris Bradley Center on Monday.  Monta Ellis led the Bucks with 21 points.  The loss drops Milwaukee back to the .500 mark on the season. 

 

WFCA All-Star Rosters Announced

The Wisconsin Football Coaches Association has announced their rosters for this summers all-star games played at UW-Oshkosh on July 20th.   Fond du Lac senior offensive lineman Ben Maruska will play for the North team in the large schools game.  St. Mary’s Springs linebacker Matt Austin and defensive back Ryan Grandlic will play for the North team in the small schools game

 

Fondy Hoops on KFIZ

The Fond du Lac boys basketball team hosts Milwaukee Destiny tonight in a non-conference game at the Acuity Fieldhouse tonight.  Destiny features one of the top scorers in the state of Wisconsin in Jerrelle Deberry, who averages about 26 ppg.  Coverage begins at 7:05pm with the Backyard Grill Pregame Show. 

 

WIAA Hockey Playoffs Start

The WIAA boys hockey playoffs begin tonight with Regional action across the state.  St. Mary’s Springs will play host to Grafton tonight at the Blue Line.  They drop the puck at 7:30pm.  Waupun in on the road at Homestead.  Fond du Lac has a first round bye and will play on Thursday night.
