Brewers Rocked Again
The Brewers losing streak hit six games as the Washington Nationals thumped the Brewers 10-5 on Monday night. Yovani Gallardo got roughed up for 8 runs and 9 hits in just 3 innings of work last night. That included a Bryce Harper home run in his first at bat since coming off the disabled list. Rickie Weeks and Juan Francisco hit back to back homers in the sixth. Wisconsin native Jordan Zimmermann picked up the win for Washington. The series continues tonight as Wily Peralta takes on Stephen Strasburg. Coverage begins at 5:30pm on News-Talk 1450 KFIZ.
The team announced that Kyle Lohse will start on Wednesday against the Nationals. Lohse pitched just an inning and two-thirds on Sunday when the game was halted because of rain in Pittsburgh. The website TMZ reports that one of the whistleblowers who released information about alleged information about MLB players, including Ryan Braun, and their involvement with a Miami clinic and PEDs will met with Major League Baseball officials.
