Brewers Rocked Again

The Brewers losing streak hit six games as the Washington Nationals thumped the Brewers 10-5 on Monday night.  Yovani Gallardo got roughed up for 8 runs and 9 hits in just 3 innings of work last night.  That included a Bryce Harper home run in his first at bat since coming off the disabled list.  Rickie Weeks and Juan Francisco hit back to back homers in the sixth.  Wisconsin native Jordan Zimmermann picked up the win for Washington.  The series continues tonight as Wily Peralta takes on Stephen Strasburg.  Coverage begins at 5:30pm on News-Talk 1450 KFIZ.

Brewers Notes

The team announced that Kyle Lohse will start on Wednesday against the Nationals.  Lohse pitched just an inning and two-thirds on Sunday when the game was halted because of rain in Pittsburgh.  The website TMZ reports that one of the whistleblowers who released information about alleged information about  MLB players, including Ryan Braun, and their involvement with a Miami clinic and PEDs will met with Major League Baseball officials.

Bucks

Reports say the Bucks will lose another member of their backcourt.  Mike Dunleavy has reportedly agreed on a two-year, $6 million dollar contract with the Chicago Bulls.   Rumors are also swirling that the Bucks will conduct a sign and trade deal with guard JJ Redick that will send him to the LA Clippers.

NBA Big Men

Free agent big man Dwight Howard continues to shop his services around the NBA.  Houston and the LA Lakers are considered the top spots to land the free agent.  Howard reportedly met with Atlanta and Golden State on Monday.  Former #1 overall draft pick Greg Oden who never really got his NBA career going because of knee injuries is looking to latch on with a team.  The 25-year-old reportedly has Miami, San Antonio, Cleveland, Memphis, and Boston interested. He’s played in just 82 games since being taken #1 overall in 2007.
