The Arizona Cardinals have
lost their starting quarterback for the season. 
Carson Palmer tore his ACL in his left knee on Sunday in the win against
the Rams.  Drew Stanton will now be under
center for Arizona
who has the NFL’s best record at 8-1.

 

Badgers sophomore linebacker
Vince Biegel has been named the Big Ten’s Defensive Player of the Week.  Biegel had seven tackles and 3 sacks in the
win over Purdue.  Bucky will host Nebraska on Saturday at Camp Randall.  The kickoff is set for 2:30pm with coverage
set to begin at 12:30pm on News-Talk 1450 KFIZ.

 

The Bucks take a 3-4 record
into their matchup tonight against the Oklahoma City Thunder at the BMO Harris
Bradley Center
.  Coverage begins at 6:40pm with the tip set

Fond du Lac placed three runners on the FVA All-Conference Girls
Cross Country Team.  Junior Annie
Moore,  freshman Ally Gietzel and senior
Megan Buechel all make the first team. In girls golf, senior Shania Schibbelhut
is First Team All-FVA.   Freshman
Margaret Krolcyzk gets Honorable Mention All-FVA.

to get ready for their WIAA Division Six State Semifinal against Athens on Friday night in Stevens PointAthens
is 12-0 on the season and champions of the Cloverwood Conference in the
north-central part of the state.
