The Badgers play St. Louis in Cancun, Mexico tonight.  You’ll hear all the action on News-Talk 1450 KFIZ.  Coverage begins at 6:30pm with the tip at 7:30pm.  Badger big man Frank Kaminsky has been named the Big Ten Player of the Week.  Wisconsin is #10 in the AP Poll and #11 in the Coaches Poll.

Arizona State edged Marquette 79-77 last night in Tempe.  Davante Gardner had 18 for the Golden Eagles.  Todd Mayo sat out with a sprained ankle.  Marquette is #25 in the AP Poll.

Brandon Jennings had 15 points and 13 assists to lead Detroit past the Bucks 113-94 on Monday night in Motown.  John Henson had 15 and Khris Middleton 14 in the loss for Bucks who have now lost 9 games in a row.

The Chicago Bulls have lost guard Derrick Rose for the rest of the season after knee surgery.  The All-Star missed all of last year with a different injury.  The Lakers have signed Kobe Bryant to a two-year contract extension said to be worth $48.5 million dollars.

With a Thanksgiving game at Detroit the Packers don’t get a day off this week.  They will hit the practice field today with Mike McCarthy not naming a starting quarterback yet.  Matt Flynn led the Packers on a 4th quarter comeback against the Vikings after Scott Tolzien got benched.  Aaron Rodgers will miss Thursday’s affair with Detroit as he recovers from his broken collarbone.
