The Royals scored 5 runs in
the 8th and 2 more in the 9th to rally by the Houston 9-6.   That series is tied 2-2.  Game 5 of the series is set for Wednesday
night in Kansas City.

 

The Blue Jays doubled up the
Rangers 8-4 to tie that best of five series at 2-2.  The winner take call Game 5 is Wednesday
afternoon in Toronto.

 

The Cubs hits six home runs
in an 8-6 win over St. Louis
at Wrigley Field.  The Cubs lead that
series 2-1.  The Cubs can win the series
this afternoon at Wrigley Field.  The 1st
pitch is set for 3:37pm.

 

The Mets took a 2-1 series
lead over the Dodgers with a 13-7 win on Monday night.   The Mets can win the series tonight as they
host game 4 in New York.  The 1st pitch is set for 7:07pm.

The Packers take today off
before beginning preparations for the San Diego Chargers Sunday at Lambeau
Field.  Mike McCarthy says the Packers
want to take care of business against San
Diego
on Sunday and they try and get healthy during
the bye week.  Sunday’s kickoff is set
for 3:25pm on KFIZ.

 

It appears that BJ Raji and
TJ Lang dodged major injuries in Sunday’s win over the Rams.  Raji says his groin injury is minor and Lang
says he expects to play with the knee injury he’s dealing with.  Linebacker Nick Perry’s shoulder might be
more serious and his status will be updated later in the week.

 

The Badgers will host Purdue
on Saturday morning for Homecoming. The game kicks off at 11am with pregame
coverage starting at 9am on News-Talk 1450 KFIZ.

 

Reports say that legendary
college football coach Steve Spurrier is retiring as head coach of South Carolina.  The 70-year-old has spent the last ten
seasons at South Carolina after a run with the
Washington Redskins and before that at Florida
and Duke.

 

USC has fired head coach  Steve Sarkisian after allegedly showing up to
practice drunk on Sunday.  He has checked
himself into a rehab facility.

 

The Bucks are in Cleveland tonight for a
matchup with the Cavs.  You’ll hear it on
KFIZ with coverage beginning at 5:40pm. 
The tip is set for 6:10pm.
