The Packers take today off as they try and sort out their
injury issues.  Mike McCarthy says that
wide receiver Randall Cobb will miss 6-8 weeks with a broken leg.  Receiver James Jones’ shin injury isn’t as
serious and there is a chance that he could play this weekend.  LB Nick Perry will also be missing next week
against Cleveland
as he suffered a foot injury against the Ravens.  The Packers signed receiver Reggie Dunn to
the practice squad and also may be considering bringing back Tyrone Walker who
had a strong training camp but was cut.  The
Packers reportedly have offered a contract on their 53-man roster to Denver practice squad
receiver Tavarres King.  The Packers and
Browns will kickoff at 3:25pm on Sunday at Lambeau.  You’ll hear it on News-Talk 1450 KFIZ.

 

The San Diego Chargers evened their record at 3-3 with a 19-9
win over the Colts on Monday Night Football. 
Phillip Rivers threw for 237 yards and a TD and Ryan Matthews ran for
102 yards in the win.  Week 7 of the NFL
season starts on Thursday night as the Cardinals host Seattle.

 

It looks like Jared Abbrederis will be good to go on Saturday
when the Badgers travel to Illinois
on Saturday night.  Abbrederis left
Saturday’s win over Northwestern with a head injury. Saturday night’s game
kicks off at 7pm.  You’ll hear it on

Dodgers pitchers scattered just four hits over 9 innings as
they blanked the Cardinals 3-0 in the National League Championship Series on
Monday night.  The Cards still lead the
best of seven series 2-1.  Game 4 of the
series is tonight in LA.  Game 3 of the
American League Championship series is this afternoon as Detroit
hosts Boston.
That series is knotted up a 1-1.

 

The Bucks look for their first preseason win tonight as they
travel to Memphis.
