The playing future of Packers tight end Jermichael Finley is still up in the air, but it looks like life goes on. Finley tweeted out yesterday that he was discharged from the intensive care unit of the hospital and was able to get out of bed and walk to the shower. Finley also thanked family, friends, and teammates for the support. Reports say that Finley bruised his spinal cord on the 2nd half hit he took on Sunday.

The New York Giants picked up their first win of the season
with a 23-7 win over the Vikings on Monday Night Football. The Giants defense held Adrian Peterson to
just 28 yards on 13 carries. The Vikings
will host the Packers on Sunday Night Football next weekend. Week 8 of the NFL season begins on Thursday
The Brewers have resigned infielder Taylor Green to a minor league contract with an invite to the Major League Camp. The Reds will promote pitching coach Bryan Price as their new manager, replacing Dusty Baker. Tigers Manager Jim Leyland announced he won’t return to the team in 2014. During his 8 seasons in Motown he won three division titles and two American League pennants.
