Just a day after he muffed a punt that led to a Bengals touchdown, the Packers cut Jeremy Ross on Monday.  Ross appeared in 8 games after being signed last season to offer relief to Randall Cobb as a return man.  With Ross gone, Cobb, and rookies Micah Hyde, and Jonathan Franklin are candidates to return punts and kicks for the Packers.

Peyton Manning threw for 374 yards and 3 TDs as the Broncos blew by Oakland 37-21 on Monday Night Football.  Manning has tossed 12 TD passes through the first three games of the NFL season.
