–Emily Mueller had 15 kills, Virginia Arndt added 20 assists, Katie Baker 12 digs and 8 service aces, Allison Taylor had six aces. The Ledgers will host Horicon on Thursday.

Laconia 3, Montello 1 (25-13, 25-16, 20-25, 25-14)

–Hailey Bartz totaled 37 assists to go along with 3 kills and 3 blocks, Taylor VandeBerg added 10 kills, while Sydney Dahlke had 8 service aces for Laconia. The Spartans will travel to Princeton/Green Lake on Thursday.

New Holstein 3, Kewaunee 0 (25-9, 25-13, 25-14)

–New Holstein hosts Brillion on Thursday

NFL:

The Packers have added some quarterback depth, signing Jerod Evans to the Practice Squad. Evans is a 6-foot-3 232 pound rookie out of Virginia Tech who signed as an undrafted free agent with Philadelphia in May, but was placed on injured reserve and soon released. He threw for just over 3,500 yards and 29 touchdowns with the Hokies and ran for 12 scores in just one season in Blacksburg.

NBA:

The Bucks have signed Gary Payton II to a two-way contract. Payton originally signed with Milwaukee in April and played in six games, averaging just over three points per game and averaged just over seven points per game this preseason. As a two-way player, he will play mainly for the Wisconsin Herd of the NBA G-League, but can spend up to 45 days with the Bucks.

Tonight, its the regular season opener for the Bucks as they travel to Boston. Coverage begins at 6:10 pm, tipoff is 6:30, catch the action on KFIZ.

–Dodgers lead the series 3-0, the Dodgers can sweep the series tonight with a win at Wrigley Field in game four. First pitch is just after 8 pm central time.
