Men’s College Basketball: Beloit 74, Marian 54.

Badger men fall at #22 Creighton 79-67. Wisconsin led 48-44 with 11 minutes left in the 2nd half, then Creighton went on a 19-4 run to take an 11 point lead with 6:37 left. Bronson Koenig had 21 points, Nigel Hayes 16 to lead Wisconsin. Creighton had four players in double-figures in their win. Wisconsin hosts Chicago State on Thursday.

Ethan Happ, Nigel Hayes and Bronson Koenig have been named to the Wooden Award watch list. Just as it was with the Naismith Award, Wisconsin joins Duke, Kansas and Kentucky as the only teams with three nominees on the list. The Wooden Award will announce a mid-season top 25 in January and a late-season top 20 in February before producing its final ballot in March. The winner will be announced in April.

Women’s College Basketball: Mount Mary 75, Marian 61

Former Wide Receiver Donald Driver and Cornerback Mark Lee will be inducted into the Green Bay Packers Hall of Fame in July. Driver played in 205 games for the Packers in his 14 year career and is the team’s all-time leader in receptions and receiving yards. Driver also scored 62 career touchdowns and was a part of the Super Bowl 45 Championship team. Lee played in Green Bay from 1980 to 1990. He intercepted 31 passes in his career, along with tallying nine forced fumbles and seven fumble recoveries. The induction ceremony will take place in the Lambeau Field Atrium on July 22nd.
