Big Ten:

Wisconsin 57, Illinois 43

–Ethan Happ scored 14 points and grabbed 13 rebounds as the Badgers outlasted the Illini in Champaign. Wisconsin raced out to a 9-0 lead to start the game, and led 16-2 with 14:40 left in the first half. Illinois got as close as six with 10:55 left in the game, but a three pointer by Zak Showalter with 9:50 left extended the lead back out to nine and Wisconsin iced the game from there.  The Badgers improve to 8-1 in the Big Ten and 19-3 overall. Wisconsin hosts Indiana on Sunday.
