The Brewers announced their 2018 schedule on Tuesday. Next year’s season opener will be March 29th at San Diego to open a three-game series. It’s the first time Milwaukee will open the season on the road since 2011. The Brewers home opener will be Monday, April 2nd against St. Louis, part of a six game homestand against the Cardinals and Cubs. The interleague schedule features games against each team from the American League Central Division, including six games against the Minnesota Twins.

NFL: The Packers have released cornerback LaDarius Gunter and have reinstated receiver Geronimo Allison. The team announced those moves Tuesday. Allison was suspended for week one for violating the league’s substance abuse policy. Gunter played in 25 games with 15 starts for Green Bay after being signed as an undrafted rookie out of Miami in 2015.

ESPN.com is also reporting that the Packers have released defensive lineman Ricky Jean Francois. Francois signed a one year deal worth $1.6 million in the offseason. He got just six snaps in Sunday’s win against Seattle.
