Area Teams To Be Re-Aligned?

Various media outlets including the Tri-County News, Appleton Post Crescent and Tri-County News are reporting that the WIAA is in the early stages of realigning high school sports conferences in Northeast Wisconsin. The plan would involve 10 conferences and over 80 teams.  As part of the plan, the newspaper says that Menasha would move out of the FVA and into the Bay Conference.  Hortonville would replace the Blue Jays in the FVA.  The report says Ripon and Berlin would leave the Eastern Valley and form a new seven team league with; Campbellsport, Kewaskum, Plymouth, Waupun and Winnebago Lutheran.  The report also has Chilton leaving the Olympian and joining the Eastern Wisconsin. The Flyway would then be left with seven teams.
