The Brewers have won five in
a row after a 6-1 win over the Blue Jays on Tuesday night at Miller Park.  Mike Fiers was solid again, giving up just 2
hits and 1 run in seven innings of work to earn the victory.  Jonathan Lucroy collected two of the Crew’s seven
doubles on the night. The quick two game series wraps up this afternoon as
Jimmy Nelson takes on RA Dickey.

Central holds steady at 2.5 games over the Cardinals and extends to seven games
over the Pirates and 10 games over the Reds.

 

The Packers take today off
as they get ready for their Lambeau Field debut Friday night against the
Raiders.  That game kicks off at
7pm. 

 

Ohio State football fans had their worst fears confirmed on
Tuesday as QB Braxton Miller was officially ruled out for the season.  The Heisman Trophy candidate re-injured his
shoulder on Monday.

Drew has been hired as an assistant for the Cleveland Cavaliers.

 

Laconia High School alum Derek Semenas, who just completed his college
basketball career at Cardinal Stritch will get a chance to play professional
basketball overseas. Semenas recently signed with a professional team in Denmark
