The Packers moved on without
Jordy Nelson on Tuesday. A day after it
was announced that the All-Pro wide receiver would miss the season with a knee
injury the team hit the practice field. Nelson told reporters that its was the
1st time he has had this serious of an injury in 18 years of playing
football. Nelson said he will still be
involved with the team. Head coach Mike
McCarthy said he thought that Nelson was one of the 1st guys in the
locker room on Tuesday. The Packers
host the Eagles on Saturday night. You’ll
hear the game on KFIZ.
The Cleveland Indians rocked
the Brewers 11-6 on Tuesday night. The
Indians roughed up starter Wily Peralta for 4 runs in 2 and two-thirds innings
of work. Kyle Lohse also surrendered 5
runs in 2 and a third innings of action.
Jonathan Lucroy hit a pair of homers while Ryan Braun and Domingo Santana
also homered for The Crew. The Brewers
and Indians wrap up their quick two game series tonight. Coverage begins at
5:35pm on KFIZ.

coach. McCormick replaces Adam Clayton
who resigned as co-head coach this weekend to take a teaching job in a another
district. McCormick has a history of
successful coaching including a tenure at
where the Vikings were consistently competing for Flyway Conference
championships. McCormick will make his Mayville debut on
Friday night when they head to Prairie du Chien for a non-conference tilt.
